Annapolis

We celebrated Columbus Day weekend in Annapolis MD.  Liam celebrated by sleeping six and a half hours straight on Sunday night (hallelujah!).

Family by the water.  This shot was harder to get than you'd guess in Annapolis. There was a boatshow going on and the city docks were closed to the public. We opted to keep our $35 and explored the public parks in nearby residential areas.

I have the best friends anyone can hope to have!  Five minutes with Rebecca, Joan, Amy and Doris and I'm the happiest person on the planet.  Liam and his mom joined the girls downtown on Thursday for lunch at the National Museum of the American Indian.  If you haven't been before, go check it out!  (Or at least check out the food court - it's fantastic!)

This was Liam's first time meeting Joan and let me tell you, she was a big hit! As can be seen here.

Saturday we drove up to NY for our dear Zak and Kay-lin's wedding. I'd like to splash a photo of the beautiful couple here, but sadly discovered at the ceremony that my camera was actually nothing more than a dead battery carrier. Rats! So, you'll just have to take my word for it: the couple, the ceremony, the reception were all gorgeous and over the top perfect.

I'd also like to post Liam snuggling our friend Liz, who was nice enough (as usual!) to come into the city early to see us and patiently waited for us while we were beat up by traffic and an unexpected trip into Brooklyn. But I just plain forgot to take the photo! next time!

In honor of his 7 wk birthday, and because I miss them terribly, Liam and I trekked downtown and met up with Amy, Rebecca and Doris at the National Gallery. Good friends, delicious gelato and a well rested baby - who could as for anything more?!
